Here's how to slow down AI cars in GPL

In the \sierra\gpl\tracks\<trackname> directory edit the file called
track.ini.  Look for the line that says dlong_speed_adj_coeff = and put in a
number like .960000.  This is like the RELS param in Nascar2 where it's a
percentage of AI strength.  1.0 being 100% and .96 being 96%.  Just keep
bumping up the number until you racing at full speed.  It makes it a lot
more fun till you get better and you get to see what the AI cars are doing.

I learned that you don't have to mash the gas so hard and smooth
acceleration out of the corners makes you go much faster.  I finally got a
lap time of 1:55 at Mexico because I wasn't trying so hard to keep up with
the AI cars.  I think I'm almost ready to bump the numbers back up to their
default.
