In an earlier thread, someone mentioned a URL for a physics patch for
F1RC. I downloaded it, but it's in RAR file format. I downloaded
WinRAR, but still can't "unzip" this thing. Does anyone know if this
patch is available in standard zip format, and if so, where?

Why can't you extract it with WinRAR? Is there a problem with the
file. Just right click the file and select extract to: or start WinRAR
and navigate to the Rar file to extract to folder of choice.

I got it from www.f1rcstation.de. The site's in German, and I'm not sure
if the file is still there.

Regarding WinRAR, I get some sort of error about a corrupt file. (Can't
recall offhand).

Maybe I'll try to download it again.

You can get the v1.51 physics patch here:

This is a .zip file.

You will need F1RC Master to install it..........you can get it here:

http://f1-rc.gamesweb.de/f1rcmaster/
Make sure you "tick" the box in the options so that it will make a B/Up of
your files.........happy racing :))

check out the new editor and the new physics patch, the problem is you HAVE
to have the f1rcmaster editor to use the physics files from now on.

I have managed to change the music files with f1rcmaster which I haven't
succeeded with f1rcedit

I have seen a new track update for A1...will get it later on today

Got Sergio's update this morning but haven't tried it yet.........I like to
look at the .tga's first before i install.....that's a bit harder now.

I DON'T like the v1.51.......gone back to the v1.31.......much better IMHO

I'm using the v1.6 ][udson sound mfd........I really like it.........love
the "doppler effect" on downshift & the crowds are great.........he really
knows his stuff.

I've got ALL the addons.......I try them all :)).......allot get the boot.

Well, I just hate the 1.6 sounds, too low, too 'soft' not aggressive enough,
I had a FZ 1.1 sound that I've been usign since the beggining...
