I'd like to solicit your opinions on the following games in terms of AI
& physics comparison.

Ubisoft's F1RC

EA-F1:2000

Thanks.

Physics are ok, FF is good if somewhat uncommunicative, AI are great, wet
weather conditions are amazing. Wait for GP3 2k add-on though, it improves
physics and FF even further, IMO. Multiplayer remains laughable however. The
game's looks are a matter of taste. IMO, for the way it looks, it should run
faster.

Physics are great, IMO and FF is good. AI have problems, but not as bad as
some would have you believe. They are prone to bunching up on wrecks and are
quite bad at avoiding slow cars (especially those off the racing line), but
otherwise fairly good. Ingame visuals are stunning. Multiplayer works.

Physics are passable after applying user made patch, FF is limp. AI are
complete and utter morons/kamikazes. Game scores well on presentation and
atmosphere and is easy to get into though. Graphics are polished but have
the ability to bog down even the fastest machines. Wait for 2001 version,
which should be coming up fairly soon?

If it's got to be F1 you can't really go wrong with either GP3 2k or F1RC (I
have a slight preference for the latter, but then I've always preferred
Ubisoft's over Geoff's offerings). That said, in your position I'd hold on
to see what kind of reception EA's F1 2001 receives.

Just to point out F1CS2K fixed almost all of the problems with F12K, the AI
are very good, frame rates are much better and the presentation is even
beter.
