Anyone using the T2 system for NASCAR? I'm interested in finding out
how well it works vs. using the joystick.
Or any other wheel/pedal devices for that matter.

Thanks

I have been using the T1 for a year and I upgraded to the T2.  I have
played the game with a joystick and it just isn't the same.  There is
something about having a steering wheel in front of you while you drive.
It brings the game to a different level.  You have to buy one dude.

Yep.

Night and Day.  The wheel and pedals are 50% of the enjoyment of the sim
for me.

Well, I've got a T1 (the first steering by thrustmaster), and I really
like it. However I race more with Indycar than nascar. And because
shifting through the 6 gears can be quite quick, I've added some buttons
on the steering wheel to shift (a-la F1). I'm also putting the finishing
touches on my speed limiter button (for the pit row). Next, I'll be
dismantling an old keyboard to put some buttons on pods on both sides of
the unit attached to the unit that will enable me to quickly select menu
options (you know F1-F9 etc...)

Anyways, the T1 or T2 is great as is. But when you start adding mods to
it you really kick butt!
