I'm looking to buy the new T2 steering wheel by Thrustmaster.  Please E-
mail me with anything you have to say about this product.
                 Thanks,
                                     Jeff

I finally broke down and bought one two weeks ago. Much nicer than
trying to use a regular joystick (too tiring after more than 4 or 5
minutes.) I paid about $125 at Computer City. I've seen it advertised for
$135 at Egghead (w/ CUE.)

My only complaint is that the brake and pedal are 'differential.' What
the computer sees is the difference between them. If you press them both
down evenly, the computer sees no change. Pressing the brake while still
holding down the throttle looks like you are backing off the throttle.
This makes driving something like a superspeedway a little harder, because
you lose more speed by backing off than tapping the brakes (at least in
real life.)

Just make sure that you can clamp the steering wheel to your table. It
needs to be 1-2 inches thick. It also extends about 7 inches back from the
front of the table. Make sure you have room to move your keyboard back or
to the side.

I paid $99 at Circuit City.
