With Xmas comming, I'm trying to decide which wheel to get... BElive
me my wife wants one! (and I'm not one to complain <G>).

I Gave up on ActLabs getting their act together by xmas and am now
juggling between Thrustmaster's T2 or Nascar. PLease post\email your
comments and particularly what are the differences between these two
wheels.

Thanks and Happy Holidays.

If you are trying to decide between Thrustmaster's T2 and their NASCAR
Pro Wheel, I'd say go twith the NASCAR Pro.  The latter has a better
mounting method for the wheel unit.  The wheel has a different feel to
it (a little more tension and the tension is progressive -- the more you
turn the more resistance).  There are buttons on the wheel of the
NASCAR.  Some people wish the wheel of the NASCAR Pro was the same size
as the T2, but it's a little bit smaller (once you get used to it, I
think you'll like it).  The pedals can be set up on the NASCAR for
different axis (allowing for finer control of braking and accelerating
in the sims that support this).  The gas pedal has a different feel than
the the brake pedal.  The only big drawback to the pedals, is that you
may need to raise them up off the floor by about 1-1/2 - 2 inches for
comfort.  Once I did this, the "fatigue" factor disappeared.

Now if your wife is in a real generous mood, there are wheel setups you
could get that cost 2x-8x more! ;-)

The T2 is a good wheel, however, i have had a problem with the foot pedals.  I
had the wheel only four months when the accelorator snapped.  I got a new set
of foot pedals and have had them for six months right now and still using
original wheel.
