Buddy an I were sittin around havin a few sodi-pops, and we were trying
to think of an (easy) way to anchor these 2 sets of pedals on the floor
(carpeting) in our respective homes, so they dont move around in intense
situations.  any ideas?

I put Velcro (hook side) on the bottom of the pedals so that they stuck to
the carpet...  for me at least, the Velcro comes off the pedals after a few
times if you try to remove it from the carpet.  Then I took some drywall
screws and put them in the floor (under my desk) so that the lip of the
pedals bump up against the heads of the screws and keep it from moving
around.  The heads aren't visible because I sunk them just below the
surface.   The other solution is to get a thin piece of wood to brace
between the back of the pedals and some immovable object (like the wall).
It doesn't work for me because I have a corner workstation....  but I know a
number of people do it and swear by it.

I measured distance to wall (15") and cut 3/4 plywood 15"x19" to hold at
correct distance with pedal base against plywood.  Then I scabbed
together a frame that screwed to the front of the plywood so that Nascar
pro pedals would sit in it and couldnt move side to side (front of pedal
base is curved).

I used VELCRO on the pedals and then stick it to the carpet.. They dont move
when you play and you can still pry them off the floor when finished..Hope
this helps

Super Glue the velcro to the bottom of the pedal base.
