Nascar T2 calibration problem

I am attempting to calibrate my T2 for Nascar. I have followed the
instructions with my T2 and everything works but Nascar does not
recognise the accelerator pedal. When I calibrate the pedals (joystick
2) both register values but when I try to set the controls the only
one that works is the brake pedal. The calibration instructions
mention something about a converter which is not mentioned elsewhere.
I was able to successfully calibrate the Nascar demo.   Thanks in
advance to anyone who can help.

Calibrata both the wheel and the pedals on joystick one.
I have to use the converter on my system, but thats how it works for
me. good luck.
