T2 Calibration Problems

I am having problems with calibrating my T2 pedals in N2.
Occationally, N2 will pick up the pedals, but more times than not, I
am unable to use or calibrate my pedals.  I rin the game in DOS.  One
thing that does seem to help is if I go into GP2 first, exit GP2, and
then enter N2, I am then able to calibrate and use the foot pedals.
Does anyone have any solutions?

Could be your T2 prefers GP2?
