in GPL, where is that patch? I't not the 1.2 patch, is it? I have that
patch for quite a while now, or is there a new version available, and if
yes, where?
Thanks,
Geert Jan Poelman

OUCH! :)
Check core.ini and read.me on how to turn on the FF option. It's great.

Open core.ini with a text editor and look for a section called [ Joy ] and
set the "allow_force_feedback" option to 1. Other settings can be tweaked to
preference. Here are mine.
[ Joy ]
allow_force_feedback = 1 ; Use FF if device has it
force_feedback_damping = 48.000000; force feedback damping coefficient
force_feedback_latency = 0.005000 ; force feedback latency (secs)
max_steering_torque = 285.000000 ; steering torque in N*in giving max
device force

"Pay attention when I'm talking to you boy!" -Foghorn Leghorn.
[Hack]
steer_ratio = 0 ; to keep steering ratio constant in slow corners
**just an example**
