I read a post of some guy saying his ACT RS Force has some problems with
GPL. Did they put out a patch already? If so where?

Why would you want FF in GPL?!! They didn't have FF back in '68! matter of
fact, they didn't have PC computers back then either, so to really be true
to the simulation...you shouldn't use your computer at all! ;-)

Using Direct Input in GPL turns off the auto-centering
on the Force RS. As I understand it, something in Papy's
implementation of Direct Input causes this. There is
a rumor that Papy is working on full blown FF support
for GPL - we can only pray.

They are working on one, but if it sees the light of day, no one knows
for sure. I talked to someone at Thrustmaster, that said they were
working with Papy on the FF for GPL.

How do you expect to move your pit crew guys around in a "Quake-like"
interface with a racing wheel? You better just give up on the ForceRS and
try playing GPL with a KEWL Mad-Catz controller. Just like John Romero
uses!!
