without the hard work of those people(they know who they are) GPL might have
vanished to the big bargin bin<G>
but GPL lives and will live for along time as the best pure sim out there.

Thank you all

I wholeheartedly agree with John,
My sincere thanks to all the Papy people who had the great vision to create
GPL and make so terrific and who have stuck with it (and for having the guts
to give us the Nurburgring).
Also many thanks to the folks who have spent lots and lots of hours
and sweat working hard to give us things like VROC, GSB, Brands Hatch,
soundpacks, graphics packs, GSGirl, GPLDump and all the other hundreds of
utilities and fan websites that have made GPL such a success despite what
all those game reviewers and marketing guys think. GPL is by far my most
favorite sim ever, and it has also formed a terrific online racing community
of very generous and friendly people.
THANK YOU!
Seeyas on the track.

With 1.2, GPL Spy Boy, the various track and car tweaks, GPL Dump, sounds,
etc., GPL on-line racing still fascinates me a year later.
Thanks to all!

Let's just hope the next Indycar sim is based on the GPL engine.

That was more than a year ago. Still playing it, even more fanatic
than ever. The better I become, the more fun GPL becomes.
Yesterday, I practiced the whole day at Monza, and comparing my
replays with GPLDump. Finally the 1.27 comes in sight. I can drive
every corner as fast as Woeger, the only thing I have to do now is to
drive all the corners as fast in the same lap :)
Thanks to all who keep the GPL scene alive. There are lots of people I
would like to mention by name, but I only mention the people who had
the most influence on me:
- Ricardo Nunnini: His GPL is the best. Period.
- Randy Cassidy: For realizing the force feedback patch, and all he
did for GPL. For ignoring all the whining about the 1.1 patch, and
coming up with the 1.2 patch.
- Alison Hine: For her devotion to online racing.
- Juha Kali.. Kali... Kalisomething: For making GPLDump
- Wolfgang Woeger: I spent hours and hours watching and comparing your
replays, and still your wild driving style amazes me
- GPLEA: for keeping the scene alive
- Jack Rambo: For making GPAL, GPL's best friend!!!! (only kidding
folks)
