Ok, judgement day. Everyone that has both 3dfx "and" rendition cards....lets
here the comparisons. I have a 8mb Thriller PCI card. Should I be getting a
3dfx card now or stick with the rendition V2200?
Thanks,
Andrew

Since the 3DFX patch is only a "beta" at the moment, I'd say its too soon to
make comparisons
The N23dfx patch is only a beta, but I have the Thriller 3d and CL Voodoo 2 to
compare it with. Rendition wins hands down, so far. I'd post screenshots but
hypersnap doesn't want to take Rendition screenshots and I don't know of any other
utilities that will...oh well.

Of course Rendition is going to be a bit better (I would think) cause N2 was
made for Rendition in the first place.

Sierra's latest Interaction magazine has an article on 3D accelerators
where 3Dfx, Riva, Rendition, and ATI all are discussed. In fact the
section on the Rendition cards is the smallest, and ATI is even given
it's own little side-bar article. I've said it numerous times before...
Sierra is by no means focused solely on Rendition.

Sorry, but how do you run it from Dos 6.22?
Booting in Dos 6.22 and with the two Glide files copied to the Nascar 2 directory, it doesn't start
for me with a Monster 3d.
Ideas? Thanks.
There are more than just 2 files that must be copied. I believe you need
the batch and executable files. And you can put the SET variables
to change fog & anti-alaising in those bat files instead of your
Autoexec.bat.
See I can be helpful :-)

Eric, don't pay any mind to all the DUMB ASSES who think Sierra has it
out for 3DFX these people have nothing better to do. Just keep putting
out a great product and make us proud with NASCAR 3. I CAN'T WAIT.
