F1 2001 & Joystick setup problems, please help!!

by Supersoni » Sun, 03 Feb 2002 06:58:50

I am trying to play F1 2001 using a logitech wingman extreme digital
joystick, the problem is that the car is impossible to control accurately,
it wobbles to the left and right far too easily, I can play gp3 with the
stick no problem so why does it happen and how can I fix it.  I know I
should have  a wheel but for the mean time this is all i have.

TIA

Try turning the "speed sensitivity" up to around 100, worked for me!

Just turn down the joystick sensitivity in controls menu - I think it is
called reduce
sensitivity with speed. I run mine at 85 % and it is fine now.

Hope this helps

I love it - one person says turn it up, one says turn it down...<g>
But, why does F1 2001 seem to have problems with driving rigs that work fine
with almost every other game on the planet???
