The Gulf War theme song. Big whoop. Just today there was a story in
the news that they've decided that Gulf War Syndrome is psychosomatic
-- I guess so the government won't be held accountable. As if
psychosomatic conditions cause birth defects...
They sold that war to us like McDonalds sells hamburgers and now
they're doing the same with this one. First it was Binny "dead or
alive" and now he doesn't matter because Bush is going to settle
scores with -- and grab oil rights from -- every nation he thinks he
can get away with.
I supported this war at first, because I thought we were serious about
taking out a mad dog terrorist, but now I'm growing less enthusiastic
about it by the day -- we're fiddling around in Afghanistan and giving
away our freedom for security at home -- we've got more troops in Salt
Lake City than we do in Afghanistan...
Careful what you say. Remember Bush: "Either you are for us or you are
for the Terrorists." While I'm as saddened by what was done as anyone,
that sentiment of his is *very* dangerous. I can't support that.
