Pentium 4 2.40ghz
512mb ram
NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420
Creative SB Live! Series
Win XP home

Nascar 2003 works in practice, Qual and Happy hour, but when you click onto
race it crashes out to windows. It happen on with all tracks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I had to upgrade NVIDIA drivers to work with the new DirectX.

I have the EXACT same problem but I have Windows 2000 Pro, see my post a
few above this. If you get a fix please let me know and I'll do the same.

I see this every now and then.  It's only happened about 3 times though.

I have not narrowed it down yet.

        Someone posted to my query above and it worked for me. Try lowering the
cars drawn ahead from the 20 or 24 default to around 10 or so. It fixed
my problems. Not sure why this is an issue because I'm running some
decent hardware but it works!
