I am very impressed with this use of the F1 2001 physics they suit the GT
cars very well indeed. Take a look at the second video I made at the link
below, run it full screen and see how the car goes across the kerbs entering
the bus stop..  gives you an idea of whats going on if you haven't already
had the chance to try it or are wondering if you should. ;0)...

If you were to ask me, I'd say get it right away.. I was hesitant at first
but Doug Ellison managed to convince me, and Im glad I took his advice.. It
makes for superb online racing too, especially with the Porsches.

I agree, it's fantastic, actually much more fun driving the GT cars
than the modern F1 cars.. the car sounds are fantastic too btw!

"Andre Warringa" > I agree, it's fantastic, actually much more fun driving

I started watching that little movie clip.  Track graphics look great,
car seems fuzzy.  I'm supposing that is the reduced graphic detail for the
movie.  But then I saw the driver hit the apex of the first chicane late
which caused him to blow the 2nd part of the chicane, at the 2nd chicane he
entered much better and thus his exit improved.  But THEN I thought...

       I HATE CHICANES!!!!

Trying to drive SBK 2001 really turned me off to chicanes.  I have
older versions of F1 cs 2000 but found I spent most of my laps at tracks
without Chicanes.  Thus places like Hungary which has been called a
misreable little track I found most enjoyable.(at least running practice)
A1 ring, Silverstone then finally Spa...but that Bus Stop ruins a great lap.
Same with Suzuka.  Great lap, lots of variation, then that incredibly
annoying chicane near the end.  Places like the newer Monza, &  Imola with
wiggles on wiggles just don't do much for me.
Somehow we/they have got to figure out how to make racing safe without
those repulsive back & forthers.

I have to say I have done alot of laps at Spa now in the Perspective Racing
Porsche and  Rafanelli Ferrari 550 and I am enjoying this immensly. As I get
more and more into it, I am getting more and more convinced that this is the
best thing since GPL and N4.. not saying its better but only held back by
the fact that the online capabilites and interface are nowhere even close
(f1 2001 fault) and I doubt it could handle any more than 6 cars solidly..
also collision isn't quite perfect..  but driveability wise,. its simply
awesome, for me this is easily on the top shelf next to GPL and N4 at the
moment..   I hope development of this as a package will continue..

If we could have this with a full online GT field how many cars is that 26 ?
..  that would be awesome..  24 hour online race ? lol   perhaps this is
asking too much..

Keep up the good work guys ! u have my vote..   ;0)...

The fuzziness of the car is just the video. They look great in the game.

Ah, those days in GP1 when you could make up SECONDS when driving
straight through those chicanes and the software didn't argue. ;-)

WOW, just like the WSC videos :) I have the mod and it makes WSC so easy to
wait for now. In fact, I probably won't be all the upset if it's cancelled.

Thanks,
Alex
