Does the F1 2001 GT mod require a separate install of the sim?

Version 2 will be go within 10 hours or so barring last minute mishaps
David. It's best to wait for the release of this IMO as you'll have a clean
system to install it into. No seperate install needed, it has a 1 click
installer that sets up alternate config.ini, shortcut and all the folders
for you.

We're nearly go, you can get the latest on the forums. :-)

There'll be 2 versions of the install: One at 40Mb which does everything for
you and contains everything you need, and another at 20Mb which has
everything but the car mas files for those who have already installed
Version 1. For the smaller install, you have to manually copy the mas files
to the correct folders.

I think I can safetly say that the community is going to like it! Doug Arnao
has done the bulk of the physics attributes and the cars are such a joy to
drive, and damn difficult too! I'm ***ed myself :-)

All the best

Ian

This really does show that ISI have created a solid platform with the
F12001 graphics/physics engine.  It's so wonderfully customisable.
The sky's the limit from here on! : )  The 'Half-Life' of the sim'
world maybe?
