Even the V3 has 350mhz ramdac.

Supporting the GF3 is no different from supporting any other video card. PC
developers always have and always will need to ensure their products run on
a broad range of hardware.
Most people I talk to think that's too much.

The RAM is DDR (230mhz, equivalent to 460mhz SDR)
Memory bandwidth IS important and NVidia will agree to that. The GF3
would appear to have the same limitations as the GF2Ultra cards given
the specs, but if you read further, you will see the GF3 takes advanage
of many different 'tricks' to bypass this problem, including Z-buffer
compression that can move data up to 4x faster than GF2Ultra, Hidden
Surface Removal as well..
It also does 4x4 FSAA without a significant speed hit... imagine your
favorite flight sim running 1280x1024 with 4x FSAA at 80FPS...
I, for one, ORDERED A GF3 for my new PowerMac g4/533 dual
processor..$350 as a Build to order, and I think it will be well worth
it..
> They ain't gonna write a game for, what, 4 people ?
Developers are saying anything written to take advantage of X-Box
features will carry over to PC and Mac ports...
