Dude,

Hehe, first of all, I don't game (or for that mattter, purchase a damn
thing),  to be cool. or to impress anyone.   I fly sims to enjoy myself and
find respite from my kids.  =).

Moreover:
1.  I can afford to buy just about whatever I want.
2. Whether I think it is sane to do is another story.  :)
3.  The discrimination of #2 leads to the ability of #1. (The big bad secret
of most of the well-to-do).  :)

Voice of experience there, Derek?

Come to think of it, that *would* explain a lot.  ;-)

                        350MHz RAMDAC;
                        64MB DDR SDRAM (3.8ns memory chips);
                        200MHz core and 460MHz memory frequencies;
                        3.2Gtexel/sec theoretical fillrate;
                        AGP 2x/4x bus with FastWrites support;
                        TV-Out."

230 Mhz with DDR memory is effectively a 460 Mhz clock.

Ok I see why now. It's because they are quoting the *effective* speed
of the DDR ram. But, didn't you say 350mhz core in your post?

Yes, I realize that now, but he also said it will have a 350mhz core.

Maybe if you changed it to playing games "with chicks" - things would be
different :)

Wrong kinds of games, that's why. Babes go for the Quake dudes, not
some geek playing PC pilot.

I known that. And the info I got doesn't say 350mhz. Or is the info I
got posted Feb 1st wrong?
