The jury is already out on this game.  If you like a good sim, get it.  This
demo is anti-climatic.

I myself enjoy a good Rally game.  I think RBR is excellent and tough and
superbly realistic (based on my limited knowledge of what is realistic in a
Rally game and based on what the people here have been saying).

I won't be getting the demo.  I have the real thing.  :)

   First blush...

graphics...especially the tv replay view is very good
Driving seems good...the varied surfaces all seem represented well.
FF is light...I may not have it configured properly, but My Logitech wheel
seemed to provide rather mild FF effects.  Also there seemed to be
a slight lag in steering, or...I was behind in my steering.  LOL!

I used the shifter lever for the hand brake...it works great, just about
like you'd expect a handbrake to operate.

I could enjoy this title...Do any of the 3rd party hacks work with the
demo?
specifcally the***pit camera view changer and the new pace notes?

Maybe that's why I liked them.  I've always been of the opinion that the FF
in games like F1 2002, GTR, GPL etc were way over the top in terms of FF
strength.  I usually turned them down to about 50% or so.  Mind you, the FF
strength varies quite a lot between various brands/models of wheels.  The
old LWFF for example has pretty weak FF compared to the momo.

For me (and possibly a lot more people), the demo servers as a good test as
to whether or not your PC can handle this game. I know I want this game,
because I know that I'll love it, but I'm not sure if my PC can handle it.
If it handles it to my satisfaction, I'll but it. If not, I'll wait till I
do some upgrades to my PC.

Hehehhee  I figured I would get my real version in the mail today...  guess
not.  least I got the demo last night, and DAYUM it runs without problems
with my 2.4Ghz, 512meg, Geforce4 4600 128, and my MS FF wheel.

I suck at rallying...  this game is going to take longer to master too,
because 70 KPH has absolutely NO meaning to me, not in game Nor in real
life, but I suspect it will have too...  See I keep hearing him say "flat
right, 70" and Im thinking 70 mph (about double what KPH is right?)  Then I
get to hear, "OW OHHH" as we careen off the track...  Hehehehe

The 70 is the distance in metres to the next notable road feature.  You
could think of them as yards, if you prefer :-)

Got the demo but it's not seeing my Logi Momo wheel in controller setup.
Seems to see my Redline pedals and the buttons on the wheel but not the
wheel itself. If i go to controller setup, whatever i try to calibrate gets
set to X or Y axis??  Any ideas anyone ?
Thanks, Sid.

Does the patch for the full version fix the various controller issues for
those of us with TSW2 wheels?  The demo looks good, but it's tricky getting
it to work properly.

My cornering ability almost coincided (sp?) with Andi Coles mov he posted in
the (ideas need please thread), his "jump" was what my cornering looked
