I'm a big RBR fan, and the video might be interesting, but I have an
allergy to the "word" PWNED. In fact I've broken out in a rash just cut
& pasting it.

Maybe I will when I can find my glasses and stop my wrinkly old fingers
shaking so hard I can't hit the download button ;-)

I'm, like, well imbarrissed.

PS The only massive stains round here are on the carpet, cunningly
hidden by bits of furniture.

Laff. :)

Do you have a better setup for Rbr? I am playing on an Xbox controller.
:| And 640x480 with everything turned down.

Seeing as you asked....

I think it's safe to assume most rec.autos.simulators regulars have a
computer which can chuck out RBR at a higher res and with more eye candy
than that and are using a medium to high range, either analog or force
feedback wheel/pedal combo.

And, yup, a majority here can probably lay waste to that time with the
Skoda. Nice vid tho'.

You might want to try driving with your eyes closed as well, that's
almost as big a handicap as using a gamepad! :-)

Smoothly driven. But not that fast

:) But I do okay with the controller. How is your time on the Rally
School course?

> How is your time on the Rally School course?

Fast enough to pass. :-) I only ever did it once, and I didn't keep a
record. RBR isn't even on my PC at the moment, and my limited seat time
is usually spent in GTL at the moment. Although I love RBR as a sim,
rallying isn't really my thing, with only the clock to race against.

I'm also scared of trees.

Well, I love trees, I just don't love them enough to kiss them regularly
at 120kph.

>School course?

I think you have a great time for using a controller, I wouldn't even
want to try it.  Looking in my files I see a rally school replay at
1:26. I guess that was when I first passed. Since then I have spent
most time on the Finnish stages where I at least have gone negative.
What kind of times are you getting there with the controller?

You should get a wheel. It's lots more fun. I have a Logitech DFP.
Works very well for RBR on the PC.
