HI guys can you help me, i have just reinstalled GPL and im getting bad
graohics in the main menus when useing the 3DFX option, i get flashing
graphics
and also the mouse corrupts the screen as i move it, one im in the car then
its ok
but the edges that were black now flash with graphics from the pit screen.

Im using a 12 meg voodoo 2 card not overclocked
DX6.1
Latest 3DFX ref drivers
P 2 300A O/C to 375

I have no promblems with any other 3DFX games with this setup.
any ideas ??

I had this last week, you need to get an earlier version of glide2x.dll
(version 2.53) and stick it in your gpl directory, gpl will use this version
and your other software will be unaffected.

You can get the file from http://www.shadows.com/nascar/

Check your advanced voodoo2 setup (ie. forcing mipmaps and such) and turn
them off. Im not sure which checkbox did it but i had  similar  graphics
problems when using them under GPL.

Try putting the previous version of glide2x.dll (version 2.53) in your GPL
directory.  You can get it at http://www.shadows.com/nascar/.

 Hey thanks for the help guys, it's all fixed now I had to uncheck some
things in the 3DFX properties under the settings tab.

1. NR1999 Mouse Trails & Screen flash running 3DFX

2. GPL 3Dfx graphics corruption problem

3. GPL screen corruption at high res

4. GPL + GeForce4 MX440 = screen corruption?

5. GPL Demo: mouse freezes => can't complete joystick calibrate screen

6. GPL: Mouse Locks Up At Start Up Screen

7. Nvidia 3.53 Detonator driver + GPL = screen flashing problems
