An unsupported beta patch is now available that addresses the CPU speed
detection problems in Grand Prix Legends when run on 1.7+ GHz machines.  The
patch comes in 6 flavors (one for each of the country specific versions of
GPL), so be sure to download the appropriate version.

* Note that you will need to have the 1.2 patch installed before applying
this patch.

It'll be a while before I need this, hardware wise.  But I just gotta
give a great big thumbs up & a THANKS to all the good folks at Papy who
took part in this.  You guys rule!

Well done Papy,

I wonder how long it took them 'in programing man hours' to fix.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.  I can stop bugging all the
CPU-throttling-utility makers now.  They thought I was a little nuts.

Wow, great (and fast) work.

I really wasn't expecting anyone to support a 3 year old title (especially
one which didn't really sell particularly well).
Papy has once again risen to the occasion, thankyou ! :)

Wow! I'm really impressed with Papy's willingness to please their customers!

Developing a patch for a game that never sold very much, almost 3 years
after it's release.... That's simply amazing. It really makes feel good
about being a Papy customer.
