This is great. I have just spent 10 mins. telling my wife how unusual
this is in the pc-game business, and that I must have a better pc in
order to test the patch! Thanks Papy! :-D

/Jens

P.S. No, she didn't buy my argument!

Biggest problem is, how can I tell which version I got?? Doesn't say
anything in the manual or on the box.

What language do the menus appear in?  If it's English do you need the CD in
the drive to play?  If so it's the UK version, otherwise it's the US
version.

Thanks Papy! GPL rules.

Wonderful. Nice to see a company that not only can see the right thing but
does the right thing. :)
Thanks

Thanx a million :)

I'm glad I bought most of the papy games out there. Software companies that
give such a good support for their products even if they are old deserves
every penny :D

Thank you Eric and all at Papyrus.

GPL might have been a flop sales wise (or so they say)
Partly because of bad marketing at the time.
But as a marketingtool on it's own it's living beyond expectations.

This doesn't surprise me about Papyrus.  They've always been an excellent
*** company.

One question, though.  Would someone who runs a P4 1.3 have any reason to
apply this patch?

Thanks,

Alanb

Bless their little hearts, and here for a while I thought I was being
prescient for buying a 900. Turns out I was just being a cheapskate.

Hi there,

although I "only" have an 1ghz Thunderbird I'm really happy that Papy
released that fix, nearly 3 years after the release of GPL. Thank you, thank
you, just unbelievable :-)

Now I know, what Ymenard ment when he wrote that he is not worrying about
the fast proz. bug in GPL :-)))

I always get an warm feeling when I think about GPL, have it on my harddisc
since the release here in Germany in October 98, found a lot of friends
through it and had great fun at LAN-Meetings and at the real Nrburgring
where the german GPL-Community mets at the Eifel-Klassik Race. I see myself
racing GPL in another 3 years and still have fun with it.

GPL is hard, frustrating at first but once you can master it it's also the
greatest satisfaction you can get on a Computer. No such feeling as
completing an 100 % Grand Prix at the Ring or Monaco, which I both did at
LAN-Races here in Germany... Just love that SIM
