So not at all like the current situation in other words? As an analogy
that goes straight back to the bottom of the barrel from where it
came.
Fortunately Forte foresaw occasions such as these, so I will be spared
your inevitable rejoinder.
Cheers!

I played CPR and thought it wasn't too bad, it made some mistakes (the
people who loved and hated CPR both know AI suxs so dont bring this up
again), but I thought it was an ok first time sim racing release by MS. It
had some nice new features compared to the king of CART Racing (ICR2) like
locking up tires, spinning when hammering down on the throttle, and net
play. But it didnt hold my interest very long. It had much more bugs then
any other sim, and they promised to fix them, but they never delivered. So
why dont you guys drop the CPR subject, the game is DEAD. And maybe talk
about the future of sim racing? How great GPL will be, cuz it will be great.
Maybe start harassing Papyrus to have 20+ car multiplayer on the net for
GPL? Well I dont feel like wasting my time any longer, time to do some laps,
later.

And I Say:
Ahhh... nothing more stimulating that a good "CPR SUCKS" flame war!
What men, what words of wisdom! Am I ever learning a bunch about
simming! ;-)
Alas, though, in my self-appointed referee position, I must call a
technical foul at the following:
The word is "dysfunctional". Come'on guys... if we're going to have a
flame war, then at least get the spellings right... sheez!!! :-)
That's taken care of... now, let's see... who's turn is now?
FLAME ON!!!

So I suppose that pilots were trained on a sim that costs 39.95 that they
could buy at the local wal-mart?
Sure, but C:PR has more cons than the majority (if not all) and little pros.
Most Simracing titles at least have a big list of Pros and little cons, not
vice-versa. Im still not saying that C:PR is crap, since it's a great
hotlapping sim, and especially with new tracks available on the Internet.
Can you just understand that some people, including even Bruce, might had
received more than just an alpha release of GPL and information that the
normal people just can't have ? Remember Bruce did a preview of GPL, so he
might had received "screenshots" unseen, more-depth information about the
AI, racing physics, etc.. ? That he is somehow a F1 Historian and can
actually tell us how F1 was in 1967 because he was an *** at that time ?
And that GPL leaves C:PR in the dust, really deeeeeeeeep into it hehe ? Not
saying C:PR is bad, but it's like day and night compared to GPL. You will
see... you will see...
In my head Im visualising a scenario... A start of a race at Zandwort and
the same for Laguna Seca in C:PR (similar tracks). Wow, this GPL race is
amazing. Boy, this C:PR race is boring.
