You know Eldred, reading this reply brought to mind DGF's crowing
earlier in the year about how Montoya was such an inferior driver, based
in large part upon differences in his qualifying times with RS.  Seems
he switches his opinions on these matters to suit him.  Faster
hotlapping is only a skill factor when you can use it against JPM, but
is irrelevant when it comes to GPL racers.  Go figure...

I admitted that I was wrong about the content of the threads you were in.  My
other accusations stand.  I *still* say you start the majority of the
attacks...  For you to continue to imply that you're an innocent victim in all
of this is, well, WRONG.

I wish you guys would stop playing dumb in order to win a debate.

I hotlap. I've done it in order to qualify for an online contest. I've done
it to try and in the F1RC demo competition at BHM (finished 4th or 5th).

Comparing hotlapping times for a particular sim becomes irrelevent after
awhile (especially three years!) though. That's my point, and I have made
this very clear in previous posts.

BTW, when JPM and any other F1driver are qualifying, there is a million
miles difference between that and sim hotlapping. You know what the
differences are and that is why I say you are playing dumb.

I'll say it one last time. Hotlapping in auto sims can only be used to
measure a person's abilities if you know how much time they have spent to
get their results (which is almost always impossible).

Since you decided to research me on usenet, then you probably saw that the
ONLY place ANYONE  has even the SLIGHTEST negative or confrontational
comment to make towards me has come from..........<drumroll>........... this
newsgroup.

How can you explain that?

If I'm a *** boy here, I can only think that some of you must be a bad
influence on me.

Hehe, well it's the Usenet :)  It's basic social structure is that things
never change, that one way or the other the wheel spins and the same
situation come back.

It reminds me of DerekSmart-gate.
