Nope - I'm not arguing anymore.  I won't change his mind, and he won't change
mine.  It's a waste of time on both sides.  I just asked him a question.

Andre,

There's a pebble at the lesmos that you don't know about.

After 4,879 laps there, I really shouldn't have to alert you to these things
anymore. I don't want you to lose the "big race" because of that tiny little
pebble.

F1RC kept my attention for this past spring and summer. I'm switching to
F12001 now. I only have a couple of hours with it (new system finally allows
me to play it), but it seems like it will be worth the effort if I can get
the steering sorted out. F1RC2 (supposedly released in Dec.) could take me
away from it though. I'll just have to wait and see how it plays. I'm going
to buy RT too.

Even if I had an unmilited number of tracks, I just don't see how anyone
could want to drive the same handful of cars from the same sim for three
years. Simple as that.

Online racing against like-minded people is fun. Simple as that.

Yep, it's the only thing you can rhetorically reply about what I posted.  It
would be too difficult for you to answer correctly, you aren't able to as

My god, you must find living in our world totally impossible.  Impossible to
have challenges, to be entertained, or to set personal goals.

Those real-life racing guys must find it boring to "drive the same handful
of cars" all those years.

What's the difference between going from F1RC to F12001 compared to a Lotus
to a Ferrari?  Absolutely nothing.

Gee ymenard, I always thought you could only put one azz in one
car at a time but I guess since DGF is all azz he can handle more? :)

I'm sorry Dave, but isn't that like telling Eric Clapton that you can't
understand why he keeps playing the guitar after all this time, that he
should move on to another instrument ?

If all we had was the original cars and tracks, then yes I could see
your point, but with all the add ons and tracks that people can choose
from now; I can certainly see why people are still enthusiastic over
this sim, even if I'm not driving it anymore myself

I suspect a case of Attention Deficit Disorder here for DGF.  Can't
concentrate for very long on any given task/subject matter, lest he get
bored with it.

BTW Goy-- you're not still typing with that same old *keyboard* after
all these years are you?  :-P

That's fine, and I can appreciate that.  You've found other sims that you like
better, and moved on.  But why do you feel the need to insult or demean people
who feel differently?

Are you kidding me?

You, Jan, and Andre accused me of not "showing" for a race. Thom and Gerry
(not nearly as bright as the cartoon pair) followed with some insults. Andre
threw in an "idiot" comment. Ymenard threw in his usual blather. Thom and
Uncle Fester followed with some more crap.

In the "RT Timing Sync Bug" thread, I only  ESPONDED to an unprovoked insult
from Alex.

In other words, the same old group of  fans of a particular sim did their
same old routine, and then whine like five year olds at the response they
get.
