Hi Tom,

So far I found a couple of guys willingly to join the Ring race.
Here's the lineup so far, along with a short introduction:

- Greger Huttu (well.. you heard of him I hope :)

- Luke Mclean (oy, he's number 3 on GPLRank)

- Andreas Wilke (7th, not 100% sure he will join though)

- David Powell (easy to win from him, he's only 19th on GPLRank)

- Marc Royal (easy too, nr. 21 on that meaningless GPLRank)

- Niels Heusinkveld (nr. 27, and he's only average on the Ring with a
7.51 pb)

- Jan Verschueren (not as fast as Huttu but he knows how to finish
those full distance races)

- Eldred Pickett (he has a  handicap of 0 in the St.Eldred Cup)

- And me. I'm err.. 416th on GPLRank (oh man this is depressing) but
since I'm not an Alien, I'm bound to win this race, right :)

I asked Greg Stewart, number 2 on GPLRank, but his answer was (and he
allowed me to quote)
" I really wouldnt like to give him the satisfaction that we even
think he would have a chance in a month of sundays"

Before I contact some more people, please let me know if the race is
still on.

picture it: Trying to avoid getting lapped near the end, Eldred takes out
the leader at Tiergarten. They both try to get their 3-wheeled cars rolling
again and the rest of the alien field is caught in the wreck. Wheels &
bodies everywhere. None of them are able to continue and 8? minutes later,
the Cooper driven by Jan crosses the finish line in triumph!
"But wait, what about Andr?" I hear you ask. Well, he fell asleep before
the start and never showed up. He was nicely rested after the race, though.

MEMEMEME, ohpleasechoosemeMEME.

Uh, if you are really short of drivers, I might consider joining.
Not really alien, but I'm famous on the Internet for being able to put
people to sleep with my dazzling driving skills and extraordinary car
control. Or something.

No, it's ok.. I think Huttu and the other Aliens will keep me awake
for a while :)

Tom, if you want to bring some friends to the race, that's cool too.
How about David 'practice is for sissies' Fisher? ;)

You'll now have about 4 league admins going "But we do have the best
drivers.........dont we?"

You're right - a champion of champions would be a cracking race.

and he was offered to race other times with Eldred hosting and he
never showed his puss. blah, blah, blah.

> Andre, isnt he still immersed in 'beta testing' MsPacManette 2002?

No, he actually disappeared up his own arsehole. Apparently he was
walking along the street when it happened. Passers by heard his
terrified screams but there was nothing they could do to help.

The police were quickly on the scene, but after interviewing witnesses
they conceded that there was nothing they could do either.

Stg Steve Leamington Spa III of the Betatestersville Co. Sheriff's
Department made this statement, "We've examined the scene but thus far
all we've discovered is one pubic hair! And we're not even sure if it
belonged to Mr Fisher. All I can say at this stage is we're keeping an
open mind."

Eye witness Larry GP Legend Jr had this to say when interviewed at the
scene by reporters, "Poor guy, He was just walking along when all of a
sudden he just started to disappear up his own *** - terrible way to
go, man!"

Should we have a RAS silent tribute?

Other strange reports are filtering through the worlds news media: This
time of a top, as yet unnamed, Winston Cup Driver who has been seen
walking around with Tom Pobst's feet*** out the back of his arse.

Typical of Tom, he couldn't disappear up his own arsehole, he had to use
someone else's <g>.

Man I am not sure if I would want to show up with that line up.  I would
have a better chance facing a firing sqaud and living then beating anyone in
that group.

It really has me wondering what Mr. Tom is thinking now.  Still writing
checks you body cannot cash?
