Canopus has a good combo for that, they have their Total3d rendition card,
and their Pure 3d 3dfx pass through card, both are excellent, and they sell
both in a bundle for 299.00. I doubt you'd go wrong with that deal. Check
it out at www.canopuscorp.com.

you're waiting out for Voodoo 2 - expected in April 98)
I just read a review up at Gamecenter praising
the Diamond Stealth II S220.

Be sure you click on the "tell me more" link at the bottom of the
page, since they had some negative things to say about it as well.
I know I saw the card locally (Seattle) for $99, so add that to an
Orchid Righteous for $155 and you've got a $254 solution.
The Canopus Pure 3D has certainly gotten the 3D nod
w/ it's 6MB of memory for $179.
That combined with the Stealth II S220 would
probably be a nice setup if I had $278. I don't know
how that compares with Canopus' own combo
of their Total 3D & Pure 3D which runs $299.
(The Total 3D is Rendition) With only a $20
price difference I guess I'd want to see if there
was any kind of performance difference between
the Total 3D and the Stealth II S220.
This shows info on all the Canopus offerings:

No 3D yet, but that's the next upgrade.
