Another Video card question... actually referring to expansion slots.
My computer has 6 expansion slots... 3 ISA and 3PCI...
I assume one PCI is occupied currently by my ADI 3D Rage II video
card ?? So if I purchase a rendition card and a 3dfx card...
i could remove my ADI card and replace it with the StealthII S220 and then
add a 3dfx card to the other slot.. correct?? and leave me one expansion
slot... what would possibly be added to fill the
3rd slot ?? Curious here.

Also... how do you add a second joystick to the computer (dont
need) but my wife asked me and I thought a game card was needed....
would that fill the third slot ???

What are the ISA slots for ??? (I dont know the diff between
ISA and PCI). I understand ISA have jumpers, etc and
PCI is configured by the system... is that correct?

I feel like an idiot always posting these questions... but i dont seem
to find the answers over at the pc.video ng.

Also... could a total novice like myself install these cards without
any major problems ???

BTW.. to those who responded to my motherboard upgrade questions...
thank you. I discovered my board will work with upto pentium 200.
Thanks again to all that have attempted to help me. I do greatly
appreciate it.

The third PCI slot could be used for a network card or a PCI sound =
card(rare but most new models from now will be PCI). Your ISA slots =
could be used for most Soundcards(all sounblasters) an older style but =
still acceptable network card, an internal modem or a game card. There =
are also other things like TV tuners Radio receivers MPEG decoders MIDI =
cards and probably hundereds of other devices but these are not common. =
The practical difference between PCI and ISA is that PCI is 64 bit and =
ISA is 32. This is oversimplifying but probably all you need to know.
