The 2nd wheel has force feedback which will cost you more.  THe pro digital 2
is a solid lowcost non--force feedback.(like your old wheel)  Some folks here
are deadset against FF and others love it.
If money is tight you might want to try and find a closeout of the Microsoft
sidewinder wheels,  MS is getting out of the joystick/controller/wheel
business and have been liquidating their stocks.
Just above the TM pd2 price range would be the Logitech Momo
Racing wheel, but that has a suspect gas pedal problem in early
builds, and there is no way to know if the box on the shelf came
from the early runs.
TSW is a superb non-FF wheel but costs about twice the price
of the wheels listed above.
Even more expensive are wheels by ECCI and Ball Racing, Quite good
if cost is not a limiting factor.

wheel/pedal question for n2003

Hey,
I have the same wheel and share your dilemma. I have been asking for advice
on new wheels here on the newsgroup, and have also been researching this
myself , via info online. I have pretty much decided to go with the Logitech
MOMO, not even considering any of Thrustmaster's products. I have owned two
thrustmaster wheel in the past, and have not been very happy with either.

Thanks,
Lambone

You can order the MSFF wheel online from CompUSA for $52. Unfortunately they
are no longer available in the stores.

I had a T2 for N3 for years till it wouldn't work any more. I then went to a
Logitech Wingman Formula Force, and then the Momo with N4,NR2002,  & NR2003.
I was having problems driving, and was always blaming it on the increase in
the physics model of the newer games.  I picked up one of the MSFF for a
spare on my second computer for when friends come over. After trying out the
MSFF wheel the MOMO is now the back up that I stick my friends with.  So if
you are use to and like the way a Thrustmaster wheel feels I would strongly
suggest going with the MSFF if you can find one online, but you better act
fast.

I got rid of my old thrustmaster nascar pro( many, many rebuilds) recently
and got a logitech momo raceing wheel (black wheel with paddle and shifter
knobs) for 80 dollars.  first use of force deed and loving the wheel.  Great
investment in my mind.
