When I was making my newest system a few months ago I had to budget some
parts, one of which was the sound card, so I bougth an Ensoniq64.
I have no gripes, but I think I would still like to get a higher end
card.
BTW, the only game(sim) I usually play is GPL online, I know it doesn't
support 3D sound effects, but it would still be nice to have.
SB Live, Quadzilla, MX300, etc...
What do y'all suggest?!?!

Not much new in the soundcard business right now until maybe the Diamond
MX400 comes out.  If you want a good card for GPL, then by all means the
SBLive will work dandly.  MX300 and other Aureal Vortex2 based cards will
work too, such as the Quadzilla.  If you want to take full benefit of the
audio in N3 and Nascar Legends, then you need a Vortex2 based card like the
MX300 that supports the Aureal's A3D2.0 to get the full benefit of the 3D
audio.
