NASCAR 2003 Sound Problems - A7N8X-X MoBo

I know this area has been fairly well trodden in the past but...

I just replaced my A7N8X Deluxe MoBo with a A7N8X-X MoBo they're both
NForce2  chipset based but the Deluxe had a more fully realized integrated
sound.  Anyway no problem with the Deluxe but the A7N8X-X is having lots of
problems with NR2003 sound (no problems with other Sims).

It's mainly my cars engine sound.  It was originally a monotone high
pitched sound kinda like a 9.9HP outboard motor.  Just the thing if you're
simulating a fishing boat but not the thing for a Stockcar Sim.  I have
searched here and other boards,  as I said this seems to be a well known
problem.  Some of the solutions were to turn off 3D sound or reduce DrectX's
sound acceleration. Tried all that and it didn't work.

The next solution was to get the latest drivers from Nvidia.  Just so
happens they released some on Monday.  So I installed those.  Fired up my
car in the Pits, sounded great.  Problem solved.  Or so I thought. Sounded
fine in the pits but once you got the rev's up out on the track an
oscillating noise like you're on a bridge going over  gaps starts. The
oscillation is constant no matter what the speed or RPM's are.  It's also
very loud.  At least as loud as the engine.  It makes things completely
undrivable.  Again tried different cars, different tracks, 3d sound on/off,
different DirectX settings, no dice.  The only other solution I found (short
of buying a Soundcard) was to install RealTek drivers.  But apparently this
solves NR2003 sound problems but creates GPL sound problems.

Any answers.

Thanks Rudeboy.

Go buy an Audigy2. Not what you want to hear but that is the answer.
The Deluxe mb is using Soundstorm chip and the other one is using the
crappy Realtek.
