Nascar 2003 sound problem!

I have a nvidea nforce sound built into mother board and NR03 engine sound
is horrible,  I think I saw a post recently addressing the problem.  Can
anyone remember how to fix.  I have the latest patch. Thanks for the help!
Oh yeah, love that Trans am patch!!

Um...thats not a patch, that's a mod.  There is a difference.

I'm not 100% sure BUT, lower your sound acceleration maybe?
