I don't know Dirt, you may want to look into a computer upgrade before
getting into this one. I have an AMD Duron 750 processor on a Gigabyte
GA-7ZXE board ( it can handle up to a AMD 2200 ), 256 MB RAM and an Nvidia
GeForce 2MX video card, onboard sound disabled with a creative soundblaster
16 installed.
I get very low frame rates.....most other players proclaim they cannot play
the game at similar rates. I shut down all possible processes (many times
after a cold boot to clear all memory) and still run at about 30fps. Very,
very little eye candy....60% draw ahead, 5 cars ahead and 3 behind. low
quality cars, medium mirror, low world....minimal trackside objects ( I
would run none but need something to judge corners )......no animated
objects, no smoke, no skid marks, no debris and particles, cant seem to make
myself turn off windshield buildup :-) (yes, I drive in the***pit.)
Anyway, you get the idea........
