It's just you. This race was more F1 like than the usual rockem sockem
champcar races. enjoy it for what it was.
I thought the same thing. A friend of mine who's not into racing stuck
around today to watch it and I felt like apologizing afterwards. :-/
No, sorry, the race was immensely BORING. With little grip even in the
groove, and no grip at all off the racing line, the race was mostly a
parade. "F1 like" means that most of the passing happens in the pits. Dull,
dull, dull.
Now that finish in the Winston Cup race at Atlanta had me standing up
yelling for the last six laps or so.
Sunday was the unhappy reverse of what I had expected, but at least there
was one race worth watching.
Micky Mouse circuits always make for boring racing.

I actually did like the track, but if they could just fix the surface it would
be great!
Nick
And Long Beach should be their first race.

If they revised the track for next year, it might make for a good race. As
it was, it was a major snore-fest, with the very-F1-like "most of the passes
happening in the pits".

I don't know about suck, but Kenny Brack was doing a great impression
of a hot lapper who doesn't know how to race with others around.

Good to see a fellow NZer, Scott Dixon, at the front in his first race for a
few laps (yeah OK after a caution!). Don't know why he dropped back so many
"qualifying points", anyone care to enlighten me?
