Correct. You need to go to www.fraps.com and get fraps.
It only works for Direct3D games which F1RS is. Also,
you should start F1 2000, then alt-tab to the desktop
and THEN run fraps. Then go back to F1 2000 and take
it for a spin.

IMHO the game is good on anything which is a P3-600
or above.

Ok, nobody but me still is.  But since I just got the game, and it looks
like I'm in for a long bout of tuning display options to balance framerates
with decent graphics, I'm wondering if there's a framerate counter hidden in
there somewhere.  Ought to be a law against leaving that feature out of any
game that runs this close to the edge of most people's hardware.
