Thrustmaster probs in GPL

Gday all
I ve got a T2 Thrustmaster and I have the problem that GPL doesnt seem to
allow me to use the brake pedal as brake and accel  for accel.  It only
accepts either one or the other.  Ive tried recalibrating in Win & GPL even
reinstalling GPL.....but no luck.  Any suggestions?  If i assign the brake
pedal to the brake...no worries... BUT when i assign the accel pedal to
accel the brake becomes unassigned and the accel remains.  Its kinda dumb
:)

Do you somehow have something setup for separate axis?
It seems to think you are assigning the brake/gas to the
*SAME* axis.

Thrustmaster probs in GPL

The Thrustmaster T2 doesn't have separate axes for brake and accel. So in
GPL both brake and accel have to be assigned to one axis.
The problem is however, that for GPL you should have a controller which has
brake and accel on different axes, otherwise if you apply both brake and
accel at the same time they just subtract from each other and that is very
different from braking and accelerating simultanously (No trailbraking that
way)
But fortunately it is quite easy to change the wiring of the T2 pedals if
you are bold enough to open it and use a soldering iron. There is a good
description of how to do that (and other improvements for the T2) on the
follwing site:
http://huizen.dds.nl/~jjcox/index.htm

I hope, that helps !

Make sure that your are not pressing either pedal when you hit the
"Calibrate joysticks" button, or when you hit the "Ok" button to
complete the calibration.

After you've depressed the gas and brake pedals a few times, slowly
depress one of them and watch the values change and the arrow move.
Does the arrow move fairly smoothly, or does it jump around?  When
you've got the pedal fully depressed, is the arrow all the way to the
left (or right)?  Now try the other pedal.  Now release both pedals.
Is the arrow in the middle, or off to one side?

Just set it to 4 button/2 axis joystick and it works fine. Least it does for
me. Also make sure you set the steering to FULL Linear. Sooo much better.

Hi there I had the same problem with my nascar pro racing wheel a easy fix is
to look down at the base of your gas and brake pedal on the right side there is
a switch that says combined off seperate push the switch to seperate then go to
your thrustmaster setup and recalibrate it in the seperate pedals mode. Then
when you calibrate in the GPL you will notice the changes it works kick ***
