Thrustmaster ACM Gamecard & GPL with Generic Input

I can't get this to work properly. When I calibrate for generic input which
I prefer the game plays OK, but I have to recelibrate everytime I start a
game ( the game goes automaticaly to calibration and it chooses
DirectInput ). And then if I choose Generic weird things happen. Game
becomes very slow. I have to exit and enter again and coose DirectInput.....

Any solutions?

With my soundcard game port I can use both inputs with no prob.

Borut

P.S. Please don't ask why I bought ACM Gamecard!!

Are you positive that you have your soundcard gameport totally disabled
in Win95/8?  Are you sure that it isn't being enabled via config.sys or
autoexec.bat?  Is your ACM card's resources pointing to 201-201 and
209-209?  You may want to try setting the ACM resources to Basic
Configuration 2 (201-201 only).

A few other things you may wish to try:

Remove your game controller from the Game Controller/Joystick applet.

I haven't tried this, but you may want to rename the controls.cfg file
in your Players directory to something else and start GPL again and see
if this problem goes away.

Hopefully it was for a damn good reason, like mine....
