Does anybody know how to save the settings
when using the generic input device?
No savingprobs when using direct input.

Calibration of wheel, setup for gear up/down,
clutch, looking left/right, raise hand,
view pit board, steering linearity ....
... did I leave anything out ???

I haven't had any trouble with that.   You DO have to reassign the functions
when you switch back & forth from direct input to generic, but then the
settings are retained until you switch again.  Are yours not?

Are you using ACM Game Card? I have the same problem when I'm using that
card. If I use sb16 gameport it's OK!

Nope.
Have to reconfigure/calibrate every time
I enter GPL ....
That is, only when using generic input ...

I've seen a couple of times when changing from generic input to direct input
GPL lost some of my settings for wheel left, right, accel, break etc..
i.e. it didn't know that Joy1 X-axis was wheel left-right..

All I did was redo which control I wanted for each of those settings again.

Hope that works for you.

Seeyas on the track.
