From what i know the "shaking" is because the analogue signals from the
wheel is "converted" to digital by the CPU. (if you are using an analouge
game-card or soundcard joy-port).
i had the exat same problem with my T2 until i bought a PDPI L4 digital
game-card and stopped using my SB joystick port for the wheel.
The PDPI L4 ensures that the controls are smooth as a babys bottom and
unloads the CPU, because it "converts" the signals instead of the CPU - thus
giving a big improvement in framerate.
Infact... the PDPI L4 is soo good that I can normally tell weither a driver
is using a PDPI or a standard joystick port, just by looking at a replay of
his/hers driving.. :)
