Just got the new thrustmaster wheel, good-bye T2, didn't think I would
like accl and brk control on the wheel but after only 90 min of use it
feels quite natural and I have equalled my best GP2 brazil time of
1:19.23.    paid $90 at Comp City in CA.USA

Does the documentation that came withthe GP1 state if it will attach to the T2
pedals?  I fancy the idea of using those paddles as shifters....

I have read that you can't, but maybe use it as a clutch?

You can use the T2 pedals with the GP1.  Just use the axis converter on
the GP1 cable and plug it into the pedal y-adapter.  It works great.
