Thrustmaster Grand Prix 1 - Any opinions?

I have owned a T2 in the past, can't get on with the pedals and
thought this looks just the job. I assume the paddles behind the wheel
are analogue?

Is it just a basic T2 box and wheel with paddles added?

Comments appreciated.

I had the T1 so I can't compare the two, but the box is similar in
layout, just no shifter. Yes the paddles are analog and work great. I
always had a problem with pedals. They were always too close together,
and were very hard to set up and then store again. The GP1 sits beside
my {C table and mounts in a jiffy. I use it for all my racing sims.
The steering action is very smooth and gives me great control. I
highly recommend it.

Never tried a T2, always have a homemade wheel with ch pedals; anyway this
week I bought a GP1: the wheel is great, peddles abit less, but I'm using
them as clutch in GP2: great starts!; it's only a *** to calibrate under
Win 95, but after that MTM runs really fine: I dropped my laps by 4 secs!,
and even more in NFS!

I have a solution for that. I too had a T1 and didn't liked the pedal
setup. So I unscrewed the brake pedal and screwed it on the other side.

I too. This is what I have now, and it's great!

No discussion that a GP1 is better or more fun than a keyboard, but if i
had the choice between a GP1 and a T2, not looking at the financial
aspect, WHICH ONE SHOULD I BUY  ????

plz post/mail some reactions/answers,

For the $30 price difference go with the T2, go to Radio Shack buy some
buttons and attach them to wheel for shifting.  Makes the whole thing
lots of fun.  PP Small
