I was thinking that if Papyrus comes up with a track expansion pack for N4
it might only contain more ovals, which are not as much fun for me as
roadcourses.
I was wondering if Watkins Glen and Sears Point are the only roadcourses
that Nascar ever has raced on during any season ? Also, does the Busch
series ever race on other road courses?

Recently yes, but I know they ran others in the past.  They have, however,
totally screwed up Sears Point and turned it into more a squiggly oval than a
road course.  Even the drivers complain about it.

But it'll have more short tracks ;-)

The term "NASCAR" is very vague.  There are currently 12 Nascar series
running in North America.  The primary one, the Winston Cup series hasn't
run another road course since Riverside back decades ago.  It only runs both
tracks.  But, in other series, they have raced some road courses.  Portland,
Topeka, etc..  You can check out the schedules at nascar.com

Well, there is Red Rocks and Bull Run, the two fantasy courses
from Nascar 2...I actually enjoyed racing those more than the 'real'
road courses (Glen and Sear's), tho nobody in their right mind would
design a turn at the bottom of a steep hill (where you hit 220 before
you have to brake) like at Red Rocks...if your brakes fail you will
go sailing into the canyons...

BGN and WC only race at The Glen and Sears- the truck series (at least last
time I paid attention)races at Heartland Park and Portland. They used to run
Riverside before it closed, and maybe a couple more, but in the top 3 series
today those 4 are are it.

Bryon....

When's the last time you drove at Sears?

They've changed the track again.....and the driver's love it now (at least
the 8 drivers who tested there two weeks ago).  I know, I was involved with
the design of the new track configuration for Sears Point, known as the
Winston Cup Chute.  It now has two very distinct right-hand, 90-degree turns
connected by about a 1/4 mile short chute (straight).  If you go to the SPR
website, you can see pictures of the new WC Chute...and the Cup drivers who
tested there two weeks ago.

Now...when will Papyrus "patch" the track for N4?

Pardon me Tom,

But Sears is (imho) RUNIED compared to how the old layout (N1/N2) was with
the carousell and drag-strip etc....  I'll never forgive the IDIOT(s) who
did it.

They changed it because ONLY Mark Martin could figure out the carosel turn
in the middle.
