As for the crashing....OGL or D3D ?
If memory serves me right, a few people have had issues with 2.4 in OGL
and switched to D3D and this fixed it, some people have had to reinstall
the TPTCC from scratch

If the server is only 2.3, are all the 2.4 clients compatible? Not sure which
way the compatibility goes...
