Labor Day is in most (?) countries on the 1st of May. The US didn't
approve that day because of the association to socialism. In the US
it's the first Monday of September. So it's most likely just a normal
Monday in the Euroland :)

As mentioned below, most of Europe has the equivalent holiday at the
start of May (imaginatively called "May Day" in the UK). However, we do
have the coming Monday (27th Aug) off, as it's August Bank Holiday.
