Go to your player.ini file, look for this:

Half Rate="0" // 0 = super-high physics rate, 1 = normal

Set half rate to 0

Experience the best physics in any sim ;)

I haven't done the half rate fix yet. but I have found one major
improvement.   going back thru all the previous ISI titles, there would be a
problem with skidding.  If you overcooked a corner, and lost grip, the sim
would add a secondary skid after you recovered, I suppose trying to model
the extra heat in the tire from the skid...But with the demo, at least in my
few laps testing, a skid stayed just that,(not a SPIN mind you, but a slide
or momentary loss of traction that can be corrected with opposite steering
input) once you recover the car you can drive on, not having to worry about
immeadiately upsetting the car again.
dave(of course! I was oversteering for TESTING PURPOSES ONLY!!!) henrie

Took me a few minutes. =)
Thanks for digging it up though. I'm going to go give it a whirl right now.

When I first tried the demo, I was dissapointed that I couldn't steer
anymore when the front wheels were locked.... :-/  After changing
this value I could! All seems very good. Also, when you read the
promised features, you'll see they also promise different engine
sounds for severall cars.

Add to that the extra setup features like radiatorsize, brake ducts,
max revs, simulated engine/brake temperature, the word Internet in the
PLR file regarding multiplay, and the major improved setup
management...

Of course, I found things I didn't like....the replay for example. The
cars still don't seen to interact with the road....I know there is
hardly any suspension movement in modern F1, but it would be nice to
see it move a bit. I would also like an option to disable the practice
sessions for a race....just qualify + race will do, thank you.

That may be possible. In your PLR file, by changing the 1's to 0's, it
may skip the practice sessions totally.

At the track select screen, there is a session options button at the bottom
of the screen. You pick which sessions to run,and the weather.
