IMHO FF for GPL is a must as you get a much better feel for the car. but
it will be difficult to drive at first, so don't give up!

Yes. It has the best FF implementation of any racing game ever, and it
significantly adds to the feeling of immersion. It's so well done it
actually makes the cars easier to drive.

Your opinion is unique and the opposite of the majority on this newsgroup.

When said on purpose to shock, it's called a troll post.

Nop, not at all. I like Rally C (see my review at GA-Sports) but the
FF is no where near the level of GPL. GPL has the best tire-grip
feedback effects and the ONLY car-weight-shifting effects. The only
other implementation to come close is Viper racing, though even they
have a simplistic weight-shifting effect (i.e., wheels going lose as
you rise over a hill). In GPL you can actually feel the wieght of the
car in acceleration and braking.

Rally Championship with the best implementation of FF?
You're out of your mind!

Well my 2 cents.  If you can afford a good wheel then yes..
Now if you have about $1200 cdn to burn, buy the Hyperstimutator driving
***pit with wheel and pedal set.  It is not cheep, and is not force
feedback, but is the most realistic racing experience you can get. (I
road race an 1986 fiero gt, supercharged 3800(from 98 grand prix gtp)
with 5 spd)  my logitech wingman formula force now gathers dust.  GPL is
the best for this. (again my opinion)  Hope to here from you

Its good but not essential ! I have reverted back to my trusty T2 and can
still lap as quick as I could with the FF wheel. If you are looking into
getting a new wheel then...Yes get a FF one...If you still have a wheel that
is working well...Wait untill it breaks :))

P.S. Don`t get a Thrustmaster force Gt...I have nothing but trouble with the
actual quality of build ! When I turn the wheel sometimes the main column
misses the Pot with the gear on..and My wheel in sim stays put !! Not what
you need in GPL !!

BRM are champions at Monaco with Champion Spark Plugs !
BRM out-braked the opposition with Girling brakes at Rouen !
BRM champions at the Nurburgring with Esso !

Actually I agree that RC2000 has very good FF. I'm not going to argue about
best and second best etc.
