Hi

Does anybody have any experience of running Grand Prix Legends with an
AMD K2-333 processor?

I'm considering a new PC purchase and interested inthe performace of
the AMD - my P5 200 is just too slow :-(

Thanks for any input.

I am running an AMD K6-2 400 with a Hercules Thriller 8 meg card and
get 30-36 running with 10 cars in 800*600 with detail set 25 % from
left and mirror detail to a min.  This is about 25-30 % better than I
get when I use my Obsidian x-24 card.

I would expect a little better than this. I have a K6-2 350 With a
stealth s220 and thats what I get with 19 cars and the same graphics
settings. With all graphics on and the slider at 50% it varies from 25
to 36 fps and 16 to 18 at the start. With the voodoo II it is about 20%
slower.

I  Run  AMD 350 ALSO Well a 300 o.c..... and was using a S220 and now have a
Herc thrilller 8meg AGP...its twice the card in my opinion
ran with the V2 but was have a lil trouble with the sound dropping out but
that was because GPL doesnt like hardware accelleration for Diamond Monster
sound cards...bottom line , run great ,,, less $$$

With the K6-II GPL runs fine (11 opponents, 90% detail).

Also, man mailt sich...

I'm running gpl with a K6-350 and 64 MB of DRAM. with 19 opponents and
100% detail,I get 30-36 fps after the start. Unfortunately, when running
online,it's a whole different story.

many thanks to all.

I'm not so wary now, although I may wait for the K3 - things just
never stand still!
